Torres del Paine National Park

"Torres del Paine in winter.

A condor is flying high against the majestic mountain backdrop; tracks in the snow remind us that a lonely hunter, the puma, is searching for its favorite prey, the guanaco, and herds of this remarkable camelid are moving westward towards better grasslands. All of these sightings invoke a special atmosphere while our group is setting up tripods and cameras in order to capture the magical first few moments of a glorious Patagonian sunrise. Discover with us the unknown Patagonian winter, a season that enjoys surprisingly calm and sunny days. We have designed this program especially for the nature photographer. On this journey we will take advantage of every trace and every minute of daylight in our attempts to capture the wilderness of Patagonia at its best. Perhaps at the end of this quest we will have been rewarded with not only the memory of pug marks in the snow of this shy and elusive cat, but by also the privilege of the personal experience of its mythical and powerful presence.
